Christmas Day looked a little different this year. No dinner table, no presents, just me and a mate sat above Pistyll Rhaeadr — Wales’ tallest single-drop waterfall, hidden deep in the Berwyn Mountains. There’s something grounding about swapping the noise of Christmas for the sound of water crashing 240 feet below. It reminded me what actually matters: presence, not presents.
