Check out the first look at Robert Egger’s new film Wereulf, a 13th century folk horror movie about, you guessed it, a werewolf. But this ain’t your daddy’s werewolf movie. This is dark stuff. Apparently the darkest movie Eggers has written, which is saying something. I can’t wait to see what he brings in this films. His core cast from Nosferatu is back, he’s got all the set pieces and costumes down pat again, and if it sticks to its 13th century roots, this could be a seriously scary movie. | F
