This red tailed hawk was recently cleared for release and was taken back to her home territory. You can clearly see the beautiful red tail of this hawk and that tells us she is an adult! Most hawks do not make it through their first winters so if she has a fully red tail- it’s a good sign she was hunting successfully in a great habitat.
