The 30th World Pilot Gig Championships are now over on the Isles of Scilly. This year’s competition is likely to have been the biggest ever with 169 gigs competing, next year they’re limiting the number of boats to around 132. Two Cornish crews have been crowned the world champions, Falmouth Gig Club for the ladies and Looe Rowing Club for the men’s race. | ITV News West Country
