This is the Martin JRM Mars, the world’s largest seaplane. Commissioned by the U.S. Navy in 1938 for long-range ocean patrol, it had a 61-meter wingspan, over 35 meters in length, and was powered by four Wright R-3350 engines producing 10,000 horsepower.
