In 2025, PMMSN celebrates 2 decades of responding to marine mammal strandings in the Philippines. Since the network was founded it has trained over 4,000 responders and responded to 1,800 cetacean stranding events around the Philippines. Although many of these individuals are already dead, so all we can do is collect data and document them, we are very fortunate to have a team of trained first responders around the island of Ireland ready to help if any dolphins live strand. Thankfully our stranding network was able to respond to recently live stranded common dolphins in Kerry and with the help of our new dolphin trailer successfully refloat them. If
