ON THIS DAY, May 17th, 1990, PRIMUS released their debut single, John the Fisherman. The song first appeared in the 1989 live album Suck on This, it was then re-released several months later on May 17th, 1990, as the lead single of their debut studio album Frizzle Fry which had been released on February 7th, 1990.
