A winter storm dumped rain, sleet and rain on the Lehigh Valley Friday, creating icy roads and travel problems.
Most of the Poconos will be under a winter storm warning Friday, Dec. 26, into Saturday, Dec. 27, with several inches of snow in the forecast. In Monroe County, snow and sleet are expected to total 4 to 6 inches, according to the National Weather Service, and there will be a light glaze of ice. Higher elevations could see more than 8 inches.
An Ice Storm Warning and multiple Winter Weather Advisories will go in place across Western Pennsylvania Friday.
