A new Toniebox initiative has been launched in Warrington designed to support parents’ mental health and strengthen early bonding with babies receiving neonatal care.

OVER Christmas, Warrington Open Door at Christmas (WODAC), based at St John’s Church, Wilderspool Causeway, once again ensured that no one in Warrington had to face the festive period alone.

Adoption Matters will be among the voluntary adoption agencies (VAAs) from across the UK taking part in Big Adoption Day 2026 on Wednesday, 21 January 2026.

A 17-year-old girl with links to Warrington, who was last seen at Bank Quay Station shortly before Christmas, has been found safe and well.
