The Justice Department said the FBI and the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York have uncovered more documents potentially related to Jeffrey Epstein's case.

Prosecutors in New York discovered a million more Epstein documents, the Justice Department said, and may need weeks to vet and disclose them.

Forced by an act of Congress, the Justice Department has released “hundreds of thousands” of pages of documents related to Epstein—but not everything, as is required by law.

Epstein died by suicide in his cell on Aug. 10, 2019, but a suicide risk assessment form dated Aug. 1 of that year listed Epstein's "overall acute suicide risk" as "low."
