Following DK Metcalf ’s now-viral physical altercation with Ryan Kennedy in the Week 16 matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions, the league’s fan code of conduct has come under fire from four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers.
The NFL upheld Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf's two-game suspension on Tuesday. The league on Monday suspended Metcalf for "initiating a physical confrontation with a fan" during Sunday’s game at the Lions.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf had $45 million in guarantees in his contract voided as part of his suspension, though the Steelers are not moving on from him anytime soon.
Steelers HC Mike Tomlin commented on the legal side of DK Metcalf’s incident, as well as when he’ll appeal the suspension.

There is a guest code of conduct similar to what Rodgers was calling for as he spoke to the media. Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Lions found no violation of this code and do not plan to take action against him. The NFL does plan to follow up with the Lions after hearing from Metcalf and others during his appeal.
