Appium is an HTTP server which speaks the WebDriver protocol. You do not call Appium commands directly; instead, you use a client library which turns commands into HTTP requests and sends to Appium.
Since major version 10.0.0, this driver is only compatible with Appium 3. Use the appium driver install xcuitest command to add it to your distribution.
