Mayfield Heights police said the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the 5500 block of Mayfield Rd. Raising Canes and the Sheetz next door were closed during the investigation. The victim, whose name and condition have not been released, was transported to Cleveland Clinic-Hillcrest Hospital.
