After picking up one rushing score and 20 rushing yards in his last game, J.J. McCarthy and the Minnesota Vikings head to U.S. Bank Stadium on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. ET to square off against the Detroit Lions in Week 17.
McCarthy left Minnesota's Week 16 matchup against the New York Giants after suffering a hand injury. After X-rays came back negative, it appeared that McCarthy had suffered a broken bone in his hand. The injury occurred when he hit his hand on the helmet of Vikings defensive end Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins.
