BYU pulled off an 11-point comeback to defeat Georgia Tech in the 2025 Pop-Tarts Bowl, and with the victory came the most entertaining postgame festivities of bowl season. Coach Kalani Sitake and Co. lifted the Toaster Trophy and got to eat two massive Pop-Tarts.

Both No. 24 Georgia Tech and No. 12 BYU had dreams of reaching the College Football Playoff. After falling short, they easily could have been disappointed with the invitation to the Pop-Tarts Bowl, a game known as much for its off-field marketing as the on-field game.

The Protein Slammin' Strawberry Pop-Tarts pastry had no interest in being cooked on Saturday and bailed out of the bowl game festivities at the end.

Georgia Tech’s King and BYU’s Bachmeier are similar in many ways. Both are dual-threat quarterbacks and both are known for their toughness.
