The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for southeastern Pennsylvania for 1 to 3 inches of snow and sleet and a light glaze of ice. The advisory begins at 1 p.m. today and runs through 10 a.m. Saturday.

Temperatures will gradually rise overnight into Monday morning, climbing above freezing throughout the region. However, this brief warming trend will be quickly replaced by very windy and much colder conditions on Monday afternoon into Tuesday as a strong cold front moves through the area.
