It seems like only yesterday the first four episodes of Stranger Things season 5 arrived on Netflix, and yet we’ve somehow already reached the end of the road.
The show’s score has plummeted in the wake of the release of the second batch of episodes from season five, falling to a series-low 57 percent. The show has also received plenty of blowback on social media since the Vol. 2 episodes were released on Christmas Day.
So, is El dead? The Duffer brothers spoke about the ambiguous ending to Netflix with Matt saying, "There are two roads that Eleven could take. There’s this darker, more pessimistic one or the optimistic, hopeful one. Mike is the optimist of the group and has chosen to believe in that story."
