In the primary snowbelt east of Cleveland, conditions are expected to be more intense. An updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:08 a.m. in effect until Saturday at 7 a.m. for Oswego, Jefferson and Lewis counties.

On Thursday at 4:52 p.m. EST a winter storm warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until Friday at 11 a.m. EST for Chippewa County.

On Wednesday at 11:44 a.m. the NWS Sacramento CA released a winter storm watch valid from Friday 4 p.m. until Sunday 10 a.m. for Western Plumas County/Lassen Park and West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada.
