The first bridge closure recorded was for falling ice was on Jan. 30, 1998, closing the bridge for 2 hours, 50 minutes. A closure in 2025 lasted days.
Multiple vehicles were involved in a crash after striking a bridge beam that ended up on the 10 Freeway Thursday morning.
