FAYETTEVILLE — The 18th-ranked Arkansas men’s basketball team did not have any trouble shaking off the rust Monday night. The Razorbacks defeated James Madison 103-74 at Bud Walton Arena in their first game in nine days and final game before they are scheduled to open SEC play against 19th-ranked Tennessee on Saturday.

After a slight slump before Christmas, Meleek Thomas bounced back and set a career-high in points as Arkansas basketball trounced James Madison.

FAYETTEVILLE — Billy Richmond's final stat line was pretty standard for the sophomore guard during Arkansas’ 103-74 win over James Madison on Monday night. But the reserve Richmond facilitated some of the most crowd-pleasing moments as the Razorbacks plastered the Dukes in their final nonconference action of the season.

Kansas State women’s basketball forward Nastja Claessens was selected by the Washington Mystics with the No. 30 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, but never played in the WNBA and was granted eligibility as a junior. The 21-year-old Belgian standout averages 10.6 points per game for the Wildcats.
