Lows tonight will range from the upper 20s to the lower 20s in north Alabama. Central Alabama will have lows mostly in the mid-20s. South Alabama lows are forecast to drop to anywhere from the mid-20s to around 30 degrees, according to the weather service.

Almost the entire state of Alabama will fall below freezing by Monday night. The only exceptions to that will be near the immediate Gulf Coast. A hard freeze will be likely north of Montgomery and Selma with some cold spots in the Tennessee Valley as low as the upper 10s by sunrise.
