Netflix’s “Stranger Things” Season 5 Volume 2 premieres on Christmas Day at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) with three new episodes. The finale arrives Dec. 31.

Concerning the release time itself, the three episodes of Stranger Things season 5, volume 2 will be released on Netflix at 8pm ET on Christmas Day. This means the episodes will be released at 5pm for those on the West Coast of the US on December 25. A week later, on New Year's Eve, the season finale of Stranger Things season 5 will be released.

The second part of the final season of Netflix's hit show Stranger Things is set to hit the streaming service on Christmas Day. Ahead of that release, the show's creators have a bit of a warning for fans.

The eight-episode final season of "Stranger Things" is being dropped in three parts. The first part, "Volume 1," premiered on Nov. 26. Three more episodes, "Volume 2," will hit Netflix on Christmas Day. The finale will drop on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, 2025.

While "Stranger Things" fans wait for the final episodes to premiere on Netflix this holiday season, show creators Matt and Ross Duffer warn it will be a "dark Christmas."
