Six-time Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson was hoping to return from his foot injury this week, but he has been ruled out for the Eagles’ game Saturday at Washington.

The Eagles are set to get some major reinforcement on their offensive line. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, offensive tackle Lane Johnson is expected to return to practice this week.

The Eagles listed seven players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Jalen Carter, DeVonta Smith, Zack Baun, Jihaad Campbell, Fred Johnson, Cameron Latu, and Cameron Williams. Carter told reporters he plans on returning to action on Sunday. It remains to be seen just how much the time off helped him.

The NFL announced the Pro Bowl rosters for the AFC and NFC, and the Philadelphia Eagles had five players make the roster, led by Jalen Carter, who earned back-to-back berths. Cooper DeJean, Quinyon Mitchell, Carter, Cam Jurgens, and Zack Baun have been named to the Pro Bowl.
