The Dow Jones index fell Friday after closing at a record high Wednesday. Nvidia, Palantir and Tesla are in buy zones.

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE: SPY) and Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (NASDAQ: QQQ), which track the S&P 500 index and Nasdaq 100 index, respectively, were lower in premarket on Friday. The SPY was down 0.029% at $690.18, while the QQQ declined 0.014% to $623.84, according to Benzinga Pro data.

Trading will resume on the NYSE and the Nasdaq at their usual times on Friday, December 26. ・The pre-opening session will begin at 6:30 a.m. ET, while the regular session will start at 9:30 a.m. ET and go on until 4 p.

The Dow Jones set a record close and the S&P 500 hit an intraday high heading into the Christmas holiday. Palantir, Tesla, Google and Nvidia are in buy areas.

U.S. stock futures slipped on Wednesday after Tuesday’s higher close. Futures of major benchmark indices fell. The equity markets will be closing at 1:00 p.m. and bond markets at 2:00 p.m. ET on the occasion of Christmas Eve,

As is customary, U.S. stock and bond markets will close early on Dec. 24 at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Eastern time, respectively. Over-the-counter markets, where trading is done without the supervision of an exchange, will also shutter at 2 p.m.
